Tooth problems are never any fun its very painful. Brushing twice a day, flossing daily, eating properly, and regular dental check-ups are essential steps in preventing dental problems.

Your dentist may discuss a filling or crown with you – this involves removing the dental decay, offering local anaesthetic to numb the tooth and filling the hole.

If you quit smoking, you will lower your risk for heart attack, stroke, nerve disease, kidney disease, and amputation.

Another way of removing plaque between teeth is to use a dental pick or brush—thin tools designed to clean between the teeth. You can buy these picks at drug stores or grocery stores. If you wear dentures, keep them clean and take them out at night. Have them adjusted if they become loose or uncomfortable. Call your dentist right away if you have any symptoms of mouth problems. See your dentist twice a year for a cleaning and checkup. Your dentist may suggest more visits if you need them.

You may avoid tooth problem trying a few solutions :

 

  • Cold compress: ice pack can help ease dental pain, especially if a toothache is due to injury or swollen gums. try holding the ice pack or a bag of frozen peas, for example, against the outside of the cheek above the painful tooth for a few minutes at a time.
  • Garlic: Garlic has been widely used for medicinal purposes throughout history. It contains a compound called allicin, which accounts for its powerful antibacterial properties. Other hand, Garlic is helpful for immune boosting.
  • Aloe vera: Some people now use the gel to clean and soothe gums which can be found within the succulent plant’s leaves, has long been used to heal burns and minor cuts.
  • Cloves: Cloves are a spice native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. It contain eugenol, a chemical compound that acts as a natural anesthetic. Gently chew a whole clove to release its oil and hold in place against the affected tooth for a few minutes.
